Higher Education - Making a Difference to Economies and Communities

This was a one day seminar which aimed to encourage engagement between the research teams and a range of policy professionals, business and community organisations in Northern Ireland. For most of the teams research was still at a relatively early stage and this event was an opportunity to discuss the intention of their research, preliminary findings and ongoing work.

The seminar was opened by Sir Reg Empey, Minister for Employment and Learning, Northern Ireland and the proceedings were chaired by Fergus Devitt, Director of Higher Education, Department for Employment and Learning. A copy of the  Full Programme is available .

Copies of the powerpoint presentations together with audio recordings of a number of the presentations are available here.
